SOLGEN lecturers lead team the research to provide knowledge to the community

On August 25, 2023, Asst. Prof. Jenjira Kaewrat and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rungruang Janta collaborated with the local fishing community of Baan Pak Pa Ya for a campaign. The campaign included two activities: “The training program to enhance the community’s capacity in managing local tourism at Pak Phaya Village” and “The activity providing knowledge about leeches and exploring leeches in the mangrove forest area”. These activities took place at the Local Fisheries Learning Center in Baan Pak Pa Ya, Nakorn Sri Thammarat province.
This campaign was conducted as part of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project 2023. Over 20 participants, including village leaders and group leaders, took part in the training sessions to enhance community activities for the future.
