On 2 October 2026, the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN), together with three research centres at Walailak University, hosted an international special lecture titled
“Natural Products Research in a Changing World: Scientific Discovery, Sustainability, and Global Collaboration” at Meeting Room 1, Academic Building 6.
Guest speaker Professor Geoffrey A. Cordell shared his expertise in natural products research, pharmacognosy, medicinal and alkaloid chemistry, drug discovery, research ethics, and scientific writing.
The event also provided an opportunity for lectures and researchers to exchange ideas and explore future international academic and research collaboration.
