SOLGEN held a workshop titled Getting Started with Qualitative Inquiry in Education

On September 28, 2026, the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN), Walailak University, organized a workshop titled “Getting Started with Qualitative Inquiry in Education” at Meeting Room, Academic Building 6. The workshop was led by Dr. Arash Mousavi.

The workshop aimed to strengthen lecturers’ foundational knowledge and skills in qualitative research. Participants explored key concepts of qualitative research, including understanding the perspectives, experiences, and meanings of research participants, as well as approaches to applying qualitative research processes to educational research.

The workshop primarily targeted lecturers with less than one year of work experience, while also providing an opportunity for other interested lecturers to participate. The activity was designed to enhance research capacity and support participants in extending their knowledge toward meaningful improvements in teaching and education.

The workshop reflected SOLGEN’s commitment to continuously supporting and developing the academic and research capabilities of its lecturers under the concept “Research for a Brighter Tomorrow.”
