SOLGEN Hosts the 1st English Language Teaching and Learning Conference
On August 28, 2026, the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN), Walailak University, organized The 1st English Language Teaching and Learning Conference at Grand Fortune Hotel, Nakhon Si Thammarat, under the theme:
“Empowering English Teachers: Innovating Teaching, Advancing Classroom Research, and Building Professional Communities.”
The conference was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pragasit Sitthitikul, Acting Dean of SOLGEN, who also served as a key speaker. The event aimed to provide a platform for English teachers, lecturers, and researchers to share knowledge, teaching practices, classroom research, and professional experiences.

The conference featured talks by Dr. Carleen Velez, Regional English Language Officer (RELO), U.S. Embassy Bangkok; Dr. Luqman Mayi, Princess of Naradhiwas University; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Budi Waluyo, Walailak University. The program also included a panel discussion and research presentations from educators and researchers from various institutions.
