Enhancing English Skills Through Poetry with SOLGEN
On Saturday, 4 July, the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN) organized a Poetry Reciting Workshop, led by both Thai and international faculty members, to help students develop their English communication skills through the creative use of poetry.
During the workshop, participants explored the art of expressing ideas through words by composing beautiful English poems. They also practiced poetry recitation, learning how to read aloud with appropriate pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation in order to convey meaning and evoke emotions in their audience.
The workshop was part of the English Soft Skills Enhancement project, which aims to foster an English-speaking environment for Walailak University students through engaging and enjoyable activities. By providing a supportive and friendly atmosphere, the project encourages students to build confidence and use English more actively in their everyday lives.
