SOLGEN Hosts Art Workshop to Help Students Discover Themselves Through Colors and Creativity
On Saturday, 4 July, the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN) organized an Art for Self-Understanding and Student Development Workshop under the SOLGEN initiative.
The workshop was facilitated by Kamolsri Likhitprakairung, a Dai-in Art facilitator who uses art as a tool to foster inner awareness and support personal growth. During the workshop, participants explored the unique techniques of Soft Pastel drawing, which involve distinctive methods of applying and blending colors.
Participants were invited to create three artworks based on their own thoughts and emotions. Following each activity, they shared and reflected on the feelings, insights, and inner experiences that emerged throughout the creative process.
This workshop is one of SOLGEN’s initiatives to develop soft skills among Walailak University students, enabling them to cultivate resilience, strengthen their self-understanding, and develop the qualities of well-rounded graduates who are prepared to navigate today’s rapidly changing world.
