SOLGEN hosted a practical workshop titled "Performance Art for Learning and Self-Understanding"
The General Education Department, under the School of Languages and General Educations, hosted a practical workshop titled “”Performance Art for Learning and Self-Understanding”” on Sunday, 6 July 2025, at the Chatterbox Café in Academic Building 6, Walailak University. The workshop aimed to foster creativity and communication skills through expressive performance arts while encouraging participants to practice self-reflection and understanding via theatrical activities.
During the session, students had the opportunity to explore and reflect on their identities, thoughts, and emotions through engaging and meaningful performance exercises. They also created simple dramatic performances that narrated personal life stories, demonstrating that theater, even without prior experience, can serve as a powerful tool for self-discovery and authentic expression.
A total of 30 students participated, with overwhelmingly positive feedback praising the workshop’s innovative and transformative approach to self-development. The School expressed hope that this event would inspire students to apply their newfound insights in daily life, broadening their perspectives on understanding themselves and others.
