The General Education Department of the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN) organized an event where participants dressed in Hanbok, took photos, and played traditional Korean games. This event was part of the Korean Language and Culture Learning Program, aimed at promoting cultural diversity during the 2nd semester of the academic year 2023, held on December 15, 2023. The event was led by Korean volunteer teacher, Mr. Kim Ji Hyung, at Walailak University. Students enrolled in the elective course GED65-117 International Languages and Cultures in the event, which took place at the Pasara Language Room, Academic Building 5, Walailak University. The students had the opportunity to practice Korean communication skills with a native speaker, exchange cultural experiences related to traditional Korean attire and games, and deepen their understanding of linguistic and cultural diversity.
